The part-time, contract Festival Director reports to the Greater Kansas City Japan Festival’s Festival Committee and is responsible for the Festival’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. The planning for, execution, and evaluation of the Festival is the responsibility of the Festival Director.
The Director will work without direct supervision and is expected to provide project management, leadership direction and coordination for the Festival Committee and all sub-committees of the Festival.
