CIEE Kyoto is recruiting for the following position:

Contract Japanese Language Instructor (March 18-April 12)
55-60 Contact Hours
Remuneration 400,000 JPY & 15,000 JPY Transport Stipend
Teaching location: Shijo Karasuma (1-minute from station)
8-10 students
9:00-12:00 Monday to Friday
Teaching Japanese language & culture in Japanese to a mix of levels (one class)

The chosen candidate will teach a special language program to a group of study abroad students. This group are part of the CIEE Kyoto Gap Year Program, in which students take intensive language classes, and have already been in Japan for over 6 months. The candidate will therefore be expected to teach upper-beginner/intermediate-level students communicative Japanese while incorporating topics such as Japanese culture/society into their lessons.
