Summary: Firework is the world’s leading video commerce solution trusted by global enterpriseand emerging brands. Our client is the No. 1 Global Electronic Products & Accessories Brand and is seeking an on-air sales associate to host regular live shopping programming to promote, market, and sell a variety of tech products ranging from chargers, power banks, and much more. The live shopping shows will be hosted from San Mateo, CA and all shows will be broadcasted on our client’s website, which receives millions of visitors per day. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sales associate, content creator, or on-air host to gain exposure and drive impactful revenue for our client. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Host 10 hours of lives shopping shows each week ranging from 30 minute to 1 hour show segments
  • Commit an additional 15-25 hours each week of additional livestream training, preparation, and development
  • Present, market, and sell mobile charging/tech products to a live virtual audience
  • Engage, entertain, and educate live viewers
  • Deliver an authentic, charismatic, confident, and knowledgeable on-camera presence
  • Learn and deeply understand the brand, products, and key selling points in order deliver a high-quality live shopping experience for viewers
  • On-going technical and on-camera media training
  • On-going live show development, preparation, and improvement 

We’ll be excited if you have

  • Experienced sales associate, on-camera host, and/or content creator with a deep knowledge and interest in tech/mobile products
  • Exceptional on-camera presence and ability to carry and engage an audience during a live show
  • Key on-camera qualities: charismatic, authentic, entertaining, engaging, knowledgeable, energetic
  • High-coordination and determination to drive sales and keeping the audience engaged, entertained, and educated
  • Ability to follow a run of show, deliver key product selling points, and respond to audience questions
  • Excitement about the livestreaming industry and determination to develop and grow your live selling performance 
  • Understanding of current tech/mobile product industry and trends
  • Minimum 4 times a week

The role is located in our San Mateo office. 

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated pay range for this role is $20-$25 per hour.  The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change. The total compensation package may include stock options. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity. Candidates may receive more information from the talent partner.
