Job Description

• Collecting relevant information and preparing reports to the director on the following topics of the organization’s interest in the North American area on a daily basis.
  • Medical R&D policy and related movements
  • Projects and initiatives on medical R&D
  • Groundbreaking medical R&D results and technical trends
  • Other news that may affect medical R&D trends and policy, including political activities.
• As part of item (1), conducting the following under the director’s permission or order and reporting the result to the director.
  • Internet and literature survey.
  • Participation in related events, as well as providing input to the events and following up on action items as necessary.
  • Meeting and growing relationships with related parties.
  • Identifying new conferences and potential affiliates.
  • Any other necessary activities.
• Supporting the director, such as coordinating, negotiating, and setting up appointments with other parties for the director.
• Creating newsletters related to the activities of the organization.
• Conducting special investigations and preparing reports upon orders from the director.
• Taking part in planning, managing, and operating the events hosted/sponsored by the organization.
• Providing technical advice to the director.
• Any other duties as assigned by the director.

Requirement

• BA degree or above. (a degree in a related field such as R&D policy, biology, medicine, pharmacy, etc. preferred.)
• Related experience in R&D policy, investigation firm, medical science, pharmacy, biology, healthcare, etc.
• Proficiency in English and Japanese. (The researcher must write reports in fluent Japanese without errors.)
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
