The Political Division closely monitors U.S. domestic and foreign policy. On the domestic side, we place particular emphasis on the following states: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, and Puerto Rico. The General Division coordinates with all other divisions on different issues arising from the activities of the Consulate General of Japan.
