The Associate Director of the EDGE Doctoral Fellowship Program position in my office is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact in the diversity and inclusion space in graduate education. Plus, you get to work with me!
You will support 400+ PhD students from diverse backgrounds, broadly-defined, across the schools of business, education, engineering, humanities and sciences, and sustainability, and contribute to additional programmatic areas of focus for our office. You will make an impact by serving as an expert partner in the provision of professional development programs that meet the needs of diverse PhD students and supporting fellows and mentors. Furthermore, you will provide leadership and consult with VPGE and Stanford colleagues to develop, identify, and disseminate best practices for fostering diversity and inclusion in graduate education.
This role reports to the Associate Vice Provost for Graduate Education & Director, EDGE Doctoral Fellowship Program. In support of the university’s flexible work initiative, this position may be eligible to be “hybrid,” working both from home and the Stanford main campus with the expectation of being onsite at least three days per week.
