Instructors to teach programming, software development at the high school/junior college level.


  1. Master’s degree in relevant field
  2. Evidence of excellent teaching skills
  3. Teaching experience
  4. Evidence of commitment to teaching and to student development
  5. Advanced English proficiency
  6. Keen interest in Japanese education

Period of employment:  Two or Three-year contract beginning April 1, 2023 or June 1, 2023 (further extension of period of employment dependent on staffing needs of the college and instructor’s performance)

Salary: 6,000,000 yen annual salary in 12 monthly payments


  1. One-way transportation to Kanazawa (return fare on completion of contract)
  2. Shipping allowance
  3. Health/dental insurance for employee and dependents
  4. Commuting allowance for those who live more than 2 km from campus


  1. Teach up to nine 100-minute classes per week
  2. Contribute to development of curriculum, teaching materials and testing
  3. Help administer extra-curricular activities
  4. Participate in school events and activities, meetings, and excursions

Required Office Hours:   8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays
