Job Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and train new travel companies to join Zicasso’s network of third party, global travel specialist partners (boutique travel agents, tour operators, and DMCs) located in the US or abroad, that specialize in delivering custom travel experiences for specific destinations worldwide.
- Research and develop a pipeline of partner candidates in current and new markets.
- Develop relationships and network with travel industry players, including attending conferences, to identify partner candidates.
- Conduct in-depth Skype Video Interviews to determine if a potential partner will be a good fit.
- Conduct onboarding process by training new partners on Zicasso Best Practices for sales as well as website features, to achieve fast sales success.
- Develop process for scaling partner onboarding/training through e-learning combined with personal coaching. E-learning curriculum might include consultative selling, up-selling, best practices, Zicasso’s software features, etc.
- Build genuine relationships with Zicasso’s global network of travel specialist partners.
Candidates who are seeking a standard 9-to-5 job that coasts along shouldn’t apply. Zicasso is a fast paced, startup environment where employees are expected to proactively seek out ways to improve our product/services. We partner with travel companies all over the world, so calls are often scheduled early in the morning or late in the evening to account for time zone differences.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in the luxury travel / tours industry is preferred.
- Passionate about travel and have traveled to several international destinations.
- Highly Desirable: You have a rolodex of contacts for travel specialists worldwide.
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience initiating and building strong relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Completely comfortable doing cold emails / cold calls to potential new partners.
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic; ready and willing to put in extra effort in a start-up environment to drive company success.
- Detail-oriented and strives to achieve quality, error-free work.
- Can-do, flexible attitude.
- Job location: Mountain View, California. Must live in the Mountain View / San Francisco Bay Area.
- This job is not expected to have more than 10% of business travel.
