Job Description Summary: The Study Away Advisor advises 100-150 students annually on academically appropriate study abroad opportunities on a portfolio of programs to be assigned. These may include South Africa, France, China, Spain, Argentina and the United States. Students advised may be interested in semester, full year or summer. The Study Away Advisor assists students with the application and selection process and acts as the primary liaison with exchange and partner institutions in his/her designated region regarding student support and service. The Study Away Advisor serves as a resource for faculty regarding academic questions for programs within his/her advising portfolio. The Study Away Advisor communicates with overseas contacts and partner institutions, and assists in resolving curricular issues in cooperation with students and their academic advisors. The Study Away Advisor also represents the Office of Study Away at campus events and visits classes to talk about study away opportunities as assigned; he/she will also present at pre-departure orientation for students attending non-Trinity programs each semester. SEA Semester at Woods Hole is hiring for a full-time position based on our Cape Cod, Massachusetts campus.

Title: Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Reports to: Dean of Admissions & Marketing
Start date: March 2016

Reporting to the Dean of Admissions & Marketing, the SEA Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for raising the profile of SEA Semester® study abroad programs to our target undergraduate audience, as well as increasing the visibility of Sea Education Association as a whole. The primary goal of this position is to improve the brand recognition of SEA Semester via social media and online marketing, and to create new student targeted marketing initiatives in order to maximize SEA Semester enrollment.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to communicate the value and mission of SEA Semester by managing and ensuring the consistency of SEA Semester’s online presence throughout various social media platforms, study abroad directories, and email campaigns; assist in the production process of all SEA print materials; write and submit press releases and other public promotional material as assigned; cultivate and maintain contacts within sending schools’ media offices and the general media by providing relevant content; and work across all departments at SEA to ensure consistent institutional language and branding. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator works primarily with the Admissions and Marketing team but interfaces with SEA staff and faculty to support all outreach initiatives.

(6) Central Michigan University_Faculty-Led Programs Coordinator
The Office of International Affairs/Study Abroad at Central Michigan University has a position opening for a Faculty-Led Programs Coordinator.

This position is responsible for administering faculty-led programs and assisting faculty to develop and prepare program proposals according to University policies and procedures, including program budgets. Duties will also include preparing the online applications for students in Studio Abroad; coordinating the review, acceptance, registration and billing process for students; planning and delivering orientation for students and faculty leaders; program budget oversight and payments for group expenses. Other duties include working with the office team to promote study abroad, and to manage information in Studio Abroad and implement updates. Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field, one year of experience working in international education, budget management, and experience studying, working or living abroad.
