(1) Hiring 3 Study Abroad International Coordinators at Arizona State University

> The Arizona State University (ASU) Study Abroad Office is growing! As part of a five-year strategic plan to increase the number of students who participate in study abroad, we have a need to add additional team members to our team. We are hiring three International Coordinator positions. All three have a close date of January 11 with a max starting salary of $40,000 and a desired start date of late February to early March 2016. > Our faculty-directed programming continues to increase in student popularity and we currently have 75+ programs on the books for summer 2016 (a jump from 48 programs in summer 2015). As a result, we are hiring for two International Coordinators (both with Req ID #19033BR) to manage summer faculty-directed programs. One of these positions is a brand new one to support our growth in faculty-directed programming, while the other one is to replace a team member whom we are transitioning to manage our newly developed semester faculty-directed programs. These two positions will join our team of four International Coordinators within our Faculty-Directed Unit.

(2) Penn State Eberly College of Science Global Experiences Coordinator

The Penn State Eberly College of Science is currently accepting applications for the position of Global Experiences Coordinator. Please review the description and use the link provided for more information and to submit your application.
As a member of the Office of Science Engagement team, the Global Experiences Coordinator is a key contributor to the office’s efforts to increase and support Eberly College of Science students’ participation in a range of international experiences. The Coordinator will work with the team to provide overall counseling related to educational experiences abroad.
Duties include but are not limited to individual student meetings, class presentations, pre-departure programs, and communication with students during their experience, and post experience follow-up. In addition, the Coordinator will focus specifically on those areas related to international experiences, including: assisting with creating new global programs and courses, and developing strategies to promote global experience within the College; advising a student organization with a global engagement mission; serving as coordinator for the College’s key international program offerings; serving as liaison to the University Office of Global Programs; promoting global experiences, including study abroad and international internships, to Science majors in (print and electronic materials and at special events; reviewing study abroad applications; collaborating with faculty interested in developing new programs or international agreements; and other duties as needed. The successful candidate will have experience working with undergraduate students, preferably in an international programs related capacity, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and will bring a team orientation to this dynamic position.
Knowledge of Data Warehouse, Symplicity Career Services Management (CSM), StudioAbroad, or other database experience desired. Typically requires a Master’s degree or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
