(1) (IL) Campus Relations / Regional Manager, The Education Abroad Network

> The Education Abroad Network has an opening for a Regional Manager. Preference will be given to those able to be based at our head office in Chicago, Illinois. The most suitable candidate for this position will believe in the life-changing capacity of studying abroad, and embrace that statement with total enthusiasm.
>
> The position requires significant domestic travel and some international travel. The successful candidate will promote our programs to students and U.S. universities in the region. Our current programs include full semester, short courses, internships, service learning, and faculty led programs. We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package commensurate with the background of the successful candidate.
>
> Responsibilities:
> Maintain and develop current relationships with study abroad professionals and cultivate new relationships with institutions in the region.
> Promote TEAN study abroad programs on university campuses through classroom presentations, hosting information tables and representing TEAN at study abroad fairs.
> Meet with advisors, students, and university faculty and staff. This includes the identification of faculty for specific programs, attending pre-departure sessions at our partner institutions and directly advising prospective students in conjunction with our enrollment staff.
> Attend regional and national meetings and conferences for promotion, continuing education, and presentations.
> Be a team player who is eager to assist the organization in other areas as required.
> Qualifications:
> Three years of higher education/study abroad administration preferably with promotional and/or recruitment experience
> B.A. or B.S. degree required, Master’s preferred
> International study abroad and/or travel experience
> Consultative marketing experience and superior problem solving skills
> Strong Interpersonal, organizational, communicative and advising skills with a highly energetic approach to the responsibilities
> A valid passport is required
> Start Date:
> We expect to fill this position in December 2015/January 2016, although the start date is negotiable.
