Job Summary:
The primary function of a BD will be to locate and develop prospective business opportunities in the digital marketing industry. As a BD acts as the initial point of contact for all new business, you must therefore have an understanding of performance marketing and it’s value to a clients’ marketing objectives. BDs blaze the trail to new business with strategic planning and maintain relationships with their flawless execution of marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Sell the value of the organization to both new and existing clients while upholding company values
- Identify industry trends by researching and analyzing partners, publications, and related events to build new business opportunities
- Discover and explore new potential relationships by contracting prospective clients
- Work closely with clients to both understand their needs and provide market strategies
- Manage all activities to prepare for new relationships, including: analyzing market strategies; negotiating contracts; assessing potentiality and financials; researching equity investments.
Requirements:
- Passion for the digital market, especially mobile gaming
- Experience in business development is preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Being ready to travel is a must!
- Ability to coordinate with an international team
- Cursory knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluent in Mandarin/Japanese/Korean would be awesome!
