Overview: California State University San Marcos seeks an exceptional leader to serve as the Director for the ALCI department.
Under general direction of Executive Director for Global Programs and Services and Associate Dean for Extended Learning, the Director of the ALCI provides leadership, management, administrative and marketing oversight for the ALCI department.

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Linguistics or closely related field, plus three years of progressively responsible administrative experience at a university-level ESL program to include a minimum of two years leading and/or supervising the work of others; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Teaching experience with an intensive, academic university-level ESL program preferred.

Full-time, permanent position with benefits.

Salary commensurate with experience, knowledge and skill. Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000. This position serves at the pleasure of the President.
