Since 1969, we have designed such programs through partners and/or our own institutions in Spain, Argentina, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. We design for-credit Academic Programs on both regular-term and customized schedules, as well as educational Cultural Travel Programs for special interest groups. Spanish Studies Abroad is a privately held organization registered in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Job title: Admissions Programs Assistant, reports to the Director of Admissions. Full-time.

Job Description: The Spanish Studies Abroad Programs Assistant assists the Admissions Department in programming matters such as, collection of application materials, student correspondence, general office duties, some database/website upkeep, and social media.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated, communicate clearly and succinctly and have moderate Spanish language fluency. General knowledge of social media is required. This job is ideal for a recent college/university graduate or student looking to break into the field of international Education. Candidates with university administration or general office experience preferred.

Job Description:
POSITION: Graduate Intern for Study Abroad

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time, 9-month appointment beginning August 1, 2015.
RESPONSIBILITIES:The intern in this position will be trained to work with a variety of recruitment and promotional activities for study abroad, and will gain broad experience in the study abroad office of a liberal arts college that is also a provider to cooperating partner institutions. The intern will assist with informational and promotional events, recruiting and advising processes, pre-departure/re-entry sessions, and on campus workshops. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining a social media presence to prospective students and alumni, as well as special projects that promote study abroad, increase effectiveness of the study abroad office and enhance student learning through international education. The intern must be able to work both independently and as a member of the team. While the intern will be based primarily in the study abroad office on the Central College campus, limited local travel may be required during peak recruitment periods.

(4) NE Campus Relations Coordinator @ CET Academic Programs
CET is currently accepting applications for a Campus Relations Coordinator for the Northeast region.

The Northeast Campus Relations Coordinator (NE CRC) serves as one of two CET representatives at colleges and universities located in New England and upstate New York. The NE CRC’s primary responsibilities are to develop and maintain effective relationships with key institutions, actively recruit students through study abroad channels, and assist CET in the implementation of its recruitment plans and marketing goals.

We are seeking a candidate with study abroad experience, the ability to work independently, strong organizational and administrative skills, and a commitment to study abroad. The CRC works out of a home office within his/her region (preferably the Boston area) and makes approximately 40 visits to campuses each year. Flexibility and enthusiasm are a must.

(5) Internship at the University of Queensland – North America (Washington D.C.)

The University of Queensland’s North America office in Washington, DC is currently seeking a marketing and communications intern commencing in July 2015.

The UQ North America office, located in Washington, DC, is currently seeking an intern to support the staff with marketing, recruitment, communications and alumni relations. The internship is available starting in mid-July 2015 (with a flexible start date), and will be based in UQ’s Washington, DC office. The duration of the internship will be 4 to 6 months in length, with an option for the intern to continue through mid-December 2015.

The intern learning program will be on a full-time basis (between 30 and 35 hours per week). The intern will be paid a stipend of USD $1,500 per month. Applications for the July position close on June 3, 2015.

The UQ North America intern will assist with implementing the UQ North America marketing and recruitment strategy, and will also assist with research and writing reports, event management, communications, online social media, website development, and administrative tasks.
