Overview: 
As part of the Firm’s Human Resources Department, the Manager of Alumni Relations will work to strengthen and capitalize on the Firm’s alumni network of approximately 2,600 attorneys.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance of alumni website, including new content and job board build-out; • Oversee alumni outreach and communications including newsletters, birthday cards, and congratulatory gifts; • Organize alumni events, including social events and training programs; • Organize departure receptions for retiring Partners and track departure event activity for non-Partners; • Continually track alumni employment changes; • Publicize the Alumni Network internally and externally, and provide departing attorneys with alumni program on-boarding; • Chair firm-wide Alumni Program Committee; • Partner with the Business Development Department to drive specific in-house communications; • Track ROI on program.

Requirements:
• BS or BA degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English preferred (advanced degree a plus) • One to three years’ experience in alumni relations, volunteer management or constituent relations • Experience with all aspects of planning, producing, and programming events for professionals • Experience with marketing, public relations or client relations • Ability to develop and leverage relationships with Firm alumni and with internal Firm resources • Ability to liaise with clients and other organizations • Ability to learn about capabilities and experience of alumni • Sensitive to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under time pressures • Ability to exhibit initiative and a strong customer service focus • Strategic thinker with careful attention to detail and accuracy • Proactive, flexible, motivated, resourceful and well organized • Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writing • Demonstrated ability to work within a budget
