Overview:

The Director of Enrollment oversees all aspects of enrollment in Spanish Studies Abroad programs, both for individually enrolled students in our short- and long-term programs, and Customized Programs for faculty-led groups.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Provide direct supervision of the U.S. office/personnel including Admissions, Institutional Relations, Marketing and Customized Programs.
  • Ensure recruitment and enrollment objectives are met and improve upon procedures and policies.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns through e-mail, social media, mailings, website and other promotional tools.
  • Shape, maintain and manage department budgets and expenditures.
  • Perform regular data analyses including enrollment trends, recruiting efforts and marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate biennial Board of Advisor meeting and presentation to Board of Directors.
  • Represent and promote program at various International Education conferences and other events related to Institutional Relations.

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills with ability to lead a staff to achieve set goals.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills in both languages.
  • Willingness to travel during recruiting seasons.
  • Proven ability to manage budget and staff.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience and client relationships.
  • Experience in Higher Education.
  • Specific experience in international education.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
  • Personal study abroad experience.
