Overview:

In the Office of Global Initiatives, the Program Coordinator for the Miami University Dolibois Education Center (MUDEC) is the lead Oxford based staff member and liaison to the Luxembourg campus of Miami University. The Coordinator manages the activities of the program and works closely with the Luxembourg faculty and administrative staff. 

Job Duties:

Coordinates and oversees all operations related to the MUDEC program student application process; organizes faculty-recruitment efforts to build Miami faculty interest in MUDEC teaching opportunities; provides administrative support to MUDEC faculty appointees selected to teach at MUDEC and reviews financial considerations with appointees on an individual basis; oversees all aspects of Luxembourg Program advising policies and ensures that staff members are trained to execute these in a student-oriented approach; develops innovative, cost effective, annual marketing strategy to promote the Luxembourg Program to prospective student applicants (Miami and non-Miami) to build student interest leading to increased enrollments in the semester and summer programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience; study abroad advising experience; management and/or administrative experience in an international education or study abroad office or program setting; excellent time management, organization, and communication skills; ability to manage complex and multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Student affairs background or experience; experience in working with underrepresented students in study abroad; prior experience living or working abroad; French language proficiency; familiarity with Banner and StudioAbroad; five years of experience in a study abroad advising, management, and/or coordination role.
