Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator position requires self-direction and excellent time management skills in design, website/database management as well as print coordination of all Spanish Studies Abroad marketing materials. The Marketing Coordinator must also regularly perform data analysis regarding the effectiveness of marketing efforts, conduct data analysis to compare our marketing strategies with others in the field, and initiate efforts to continually modernize and enhance outreach and social networking efforts to increase student inquiries and overall image of the Spanish Studies Abroad brand. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits and is based in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Daily website and database maintenance, management and coordination
  • Coordination, design, and printing of promotional materials
  • Management of all social media channels
  • Coordination of aspects of electronic newsletters, updates, mailing
  • Management of student blogger and social media contributors
  • Maintenance of online advertising account
  • Coordination of the alumni program and monthly updating of the Ambassador program
  • Regular data analysis and competitive analysis of marketing strategies
  • Oversight and development of current and new web-based database tools
  • Image-management through design/coordination of marketing materials and strategies
  • Assist in managing internal communications and personnel information
  • Represent Spanish Studies Abroad at fairs and conferences, as needed

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of design
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CMS/Contao web design experience
  • Experience with SQL database management
  • Experience in social media management and online advertisement management
  • Proficiency in web design software

Preferred:

  • Personal study abroad experience
  • Proficiency in the Spanish language
