Electrical Engineers/PLC Programmers

We are looking for full-time Electrical Engineers/PLC Programmers with manufacturing or maintenance experience. A four year degree in Engineering and a knack for programming is also a solid base. We’re expanding our Automation Division and we fully intend to providing training from the ground up. We support automation activities throughout North America and Japan and we’re readily expanding into other parts of Asia and Europe. Our team includes the top PLC programmers in the industry and you’d be training alongside the best in order to become the best.

In this position, you will spend about 50% of your time traveling. To start, you’ll support a variety of projects at client sites across North America (Canada, MX, CA, TX, IN, KY, WV, TN, AL. MS). You will provide hands on support to our Automation Managers in Japanese/American manufacturing facilities in a multitude of automotive environments.

You’ll need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, be hungry to improve your programming abilities, and be willing to work overtime if the project requires it. Japanese Language and Cultural Instructor

We’re seeking full time/part time Japanese language and cultural instructors to train busy executives. In this position, you will be teaching Japanese while also helping your students communicate across cultural borders. 90% of the courses are one-on-one utilizing our standard curriculum. Our students are professionals preparing for intra-company transfers to Japan. Our goal is to adequately prepare them for living and working in Nagoya, Japan. We’re expanding our instructor base in the US, Japan and Canada.

The ideal candidate is an experienced teacher who enjoys working with people of varied backgrounds, has some knowledge of business culture, and believes that mutual understanding is the first step to mutual success. The instructor will work closely with our clients to develop and implement a flexible curriculum that focuses on cultural fluency and effective verbal and non-verbal communication.

Japanese/English Interpreter/Admin

We’re looking for a multi-tasking, bilingual (Japanese, and English) interpreter/administrator with excellent communication skills to provide support to management in an automotive environment.

In this position, you will translate basic correspondence such as e-mails and meeting notes. You’ll also be expected to serve as an interpreter at meetings and on conference calls. You will be a vital link in the management chain, providing support to busy executives in a fast-paced environment. In addition to interpreting for business-related activities, you may also be called upon for personal support issues such as assisting executives in procuring emergency health care, transportation, and accommodation.

You’ll need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, be confident in your language abilities, and be willing to work overtime when the project requires it. Our ideal candidate has previous administrative experience, has some knowledge of manufacturing terminology, enjoys working in a multicultural environment, and has a combination of creativity, dedication, and flexibility. Japanese Online Curriculum Development

We’re currently creating online Japanese coursework for busy executives that can be accessed on iPhone/Androids. Time is limited but technology is not. We’re looking for someone ultra-familiar with JLPT contents, curriculum creation and has a knack for PPT presentations.

In this position, you will be responsible for the management and creation of our online Japanese coursework. This course is designed to be taught remotely and currently has approximately 130 students gathering three times weekly during lunch for web-conferenced Japanese language training. The immediate goal is to help them over the N5 hump. In 2015, we’ll continue with N4. A large portion of the course is designed around self-study so keeping our students motivated is critical.

You’ll need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, be a consummate student of the Japanese language, and be adept at creative modification of course content to meet the needs of our student base. Our ideal candidate has passed N1 and has experience teaching both Japanese and English. This position does not require travel. Japanese/English Document Translator

We’re looking for motivated, bilingual (Japanese, and English) translators with excellent written skills to provide document translation support.

In this position, you will translate documents, such as internal memos, planning documents, technical specifications, engineering standards, schedules, etc. You will be a vital link between Japanese source documents and the English speaking team members that utilize the translated documents. Previous experience in a professional translation environment is preferred. Advanced speaking abilities also required as communication naturally occurs with both English/Japanese speakers throughout projects. You’ll work within a group of experienced translators and training will be provided.

You’ll need to be proficient in the Microsoft Office software suite, be confident in your language abilities, and be willing to work overtime when the project requires it. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, target driven and highly motivated. This position may require up to 10% travel.
