Position: Administrative Assistant

Salary: $36,000 – $38,000

Overview:

Job Duties:
- Application processing, transfer credit, and maintenance of student files
- Provider liaison and Study Abroad Fair and Week organizer
- Communication and outreach
- Pre-departure orientation; Deliver pre-departure presentations
- Update content on website and StudioAbroad as necessary
- Performs other work related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Associate degree, or higher, in an appropriate area of specialization plus one (1) year of appropriate experience.Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications Word and Excel.
- Previous experience working in a higher education environment or study abroad office is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines, sustain focus, and work independently in a busy environment.
- Some knowledge of issues related to foreign
- student administration (visas, regulations, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with Banner (or similar student account application) preferred.
- Experience planning events preferred.
