Japanese rental space company established in 2005. Established their NY office in 2010 and is trying to develop their business in NYC area. They offer wide range of office space to various businesses for conventions, events and seminars.

The hiring company is a pioneer in an event and venue management industry in Japan. They are seeking a Sales staff to add a value to their new operation in the US. The hiring company has a beautiful venue that has just opened in the heart of Manhattan. They give you an exciting opportunity for you to be part of expanding their US operation, to contact with elite companies and their executives, and learn business in the growing industry.

Your Role with the Company:
You will be responsible for developing new business relation with potential clients in NYC area.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Qualifies sales opportunities through inquiries
  • Determines and secures proper amount of meeting space to sell within the selective sell guidelines.
  • Liaise closely with clients regarding their needs and requirements, and ensure all the necessary coordination such as room set-up,
    equipment and catering services.
  • Inputs data to generate proposals, contracts, update client files, and enter information into Visual One.
  • Follows-up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours in order to secure contracts and ensure customer
    satisfaction.
  • Services all clients/groups throughout the process from planning to executing the event to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participates in special projects as needed.
  • Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Sales and Marketing or related preferred.
  • Previous experience in Hotel Sales, Meeting, Conference and Event Sales and Marketing or related field strongly preferred.
