The hiring company also provides information and support to foreign companies looking for successful entry and expansion in the Japanese market.  They provide a wide-range of services, such as timely market intelligence, extensive business development support, and relevant business events, designed to encourage new business between foreign companies and Japan . They also provide current information on the laws and regulations surrounding new business operation in Japan to assist companies in expanding their business to Japan.

Responsibilities: 

  • Research on U.S. companies in the NY office  territory, who are interested in setting up Japan business in the industry sectors such as IT and health care sectors  
  • Gathering information on Japan’s inward invest promotion policies and industry trends including IT and health care sectors, and providing U.S. companies with such Organizing seminars targeting at U.S. companies who are interested in doing business seminar with Japan  
  • Contacting targeted companies by visiting exhibitions/conferences, conducting cold-calls, following-up with seminar attendants and responding to inquiries  
  • Providing potential client companies with necessary information.  Inquiring to Tokyo HQ, industry advisors and specials, when Network expansion with chambers of commerce and industry organizations in the NY office  
  • Supporting Japanese companies to expand their products and services into the US market
  • Conducting research about industrial exchanges between Japanese and  U.S. companies, and supporting their business matching

  • Target oriented mindset
  • Good command of English
  • Command of Japanese (Preferred)
  • Strong interest in Japan
