This program will feature the actual courtroom footage that are filmed all over the U.S. We will show how the prosecutors and defenses will present their evidence and witnesses, what kind of evidences are presented, and how the verdict is given.

In Japan, the jury system was introduced finally in 2009, and that the citizen is judging is fairly new to them. Also, TV cameras are not allowed inside the courtroom.

By showing what’s happening in the courtrooms in the U.S., we hope the audience will raise the awareness of difficulty judging the others, as well as the understanding of our trial system.
