Overview:
TV Asahi is a Japanese national broadcasting company. Its Washington, D.C. Bureau seeks Associate Producer who assists newsgathering, reporting and production to prepare for news broadcasts.
Qualifications;
*BA or MA degree
*English language fluency required with strong oral and written communication skills, and Japanese oral communication skill preferable.
*Strong interest or background in politics and international affairs, and an interest in journalism or broadcasting news
*Strong Interest and understanding in Japanese and Asian culture
*Valid driver’s license and passport
*Full time job Monday-Friday and sometimes weekends
*Travel sometimes both inside and outside the U.S.
*Because of time difference between USA and Tokyo, flexibility is needed for working hours
