Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a trading, marketing and business development program for ITOCHU’s Uranium business. Assist the
planning and strategy for uranium trading,
marketing, and executes transactions for sales, purchases and swaps.
Key Responsibility areas:
Communicate daily with uranium business partners
(utilities, miners, traders and brokers, etc) in North/South America and
Europe (mainly North America) and collaborate to create trading and
marketing opportunities for the Nuclear Fuel Group. Executes uranium transactions for sales,
purchases and swaps.
2. Provide daily reports, analytics, and status updates on the uranium
industry to ITOCHU group. Present and discuss Uranium trading and marketing
strategy on a daily basis with ITOCHU headquarter offices and the Nuclear Fuel
Group.
3. Conduct market research and analyses to recommend future development
activities. Analyzes marketing programs
and recommends strategies and tactics to increase effectiveness.
4. Draft uranium contracts, internal applications, and reports for internal
documentation.
5. Assist with analysis of investment and acquisition
opportunities. Develop and execute marketing programs to achieve
investment objectives for revenue, profitability, and market share.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
l Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
l 5-7 years of trading and
marketing experience
l 25-30% travel required
l Ability to solve problems, plan
and implement the company’s short, mid and long-term goals
l Excellent communication,
organizational, mathematical computation and computer skills
