Position: Japanese Speaking Assistant Editor/ Translator

Responsibilities:
1) Logging and digitizing Japanese language footage—contemporary and archival material.
2) Translating / Subtitling footage
3) Making selects from archival footage for editor.
4) General production tasks, research, organization for director and editor during post-production.

** Hours/days needed: 5 days a week. 8-10 hours a day. Specific hours and days can be flexible depending on schedule.
** Starting 3/12 and going 3-4 weeks. There is a potential for continuing on through the extent of the edit which will last until May.
** Work out of Chelsea office Monday- Friday OR if you have an editing system at home you could potentially work from there.
** Pay is $100/day
