Job Position: Secretary, Reservation Staff at Japanese Travel agency (Amnet New York, Inc.)
Job Details:
Japanese travel agency, Amnet New York, Inc. is seeking a secretary for a president and travel reservation staffs.
Secretary position – Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1) Manage and confirm appointmens scheduels.
2) Conduct searches to find needed information, using such sources as the internet.
3) Coordinate conferences and meetings.
4) Respond to inquiries.
5) Assist other staffs in the section when needed.
6) Edit English in both official/un-official documents.
Reservation Staff – Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1) Arrange air tickets, hotels, transportation, tours, etc.
2) Use onlines reservation systems and GDS (travel reservation system).
3) Respond to inquiries from customers.
4) Attend check-in flight/hotel for VIPs.
5) Purchase and negotiate with airlines, hotels, other tour operators.
6) Sales visit to local and out of state companies.
7) Comminicate with local Japanaese companies and customers.
Secretary, Reservation Staff – Reqirements/Preferences:
1) U.S. work permitt required (includes permanent resident, citizenship)
2) Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills at a native level required.
3) Computer skills, typing skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc) required.
4) Japanese language skills preferred.
5) Communication skill in Japanese preferred.
