The Exploring Leadership Program is excited to announce new job openings!
In an effort to address the ever-widening achievement gap in our public high schools, Exploring Leadership has designed a new after-school Spring Component to its 10-month experiential leadership training program. We are seeking 10 highly skilled and passionate “Coro Campus Managers”, independent contractors.

Responsibilities: The Campus Manager is a part of a 12-member program staff team. Each Campus Manager will be responsible for managing 1 of the 12 Coro Campuses or partner high schools.  He or she will work closely with the three selected 11th grade Coro Youth Fellows to facilitate after-school leadership workshops to a group of fifteen 9th and 10th graders at their schools via coaching, mentoring, and consistent feedback.  He or she is responsible for ensuring that program goals are met under the supervision of the Director of Youth Programs and the Youth Programs Manager.

Time Commitment: (January – April 2010)
Except for the first 3 weeks in January, the time commitment is alternating weeks of 16 hours and 10 hours that includes the weekly after-school workshop and prep time, a Friday program team meeting, and Saturday seminars every other week. 

Compensation: (January – April 2010) 
$20/hr for approximately 206 hours of independent contract work over 4 months = $4,120 total/$1,030 per month.
