Hofstra Marketing and International Business Career Fair

I received the below information in an e-mail.  I have no connection to Hofstra, so no idea how they got in touch with me.  It looks rather JET-relevant, though, so take a look if you’re in the market.

The Career Center at Hofstra University, Alpha Kappa Psi – The Professional Business Fraternity, The Hofstra American Marketing Association, The International Business Association, and The Advertising Club are pleased to invite you to participate in the first-ever Marketing and International Business Career Fair at Hofstra University.  The Fair will attract undergraduate and graduate students seeking internships, as well as part-time and full-time positions.

Hofstra University, located just 25 miles east of New York City, is home to the AACSB Accredited Frank G. Zarb School of Business.  The Frank G. Zarb School of Business boasts an enrollment of high-caliber students pursuing their Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and International Business with interests in fields such as advertising, graphic design, public relations, and sales.  These students will be present at the Fair to discuss opportunities in your organization, as well as to seek out information about your particular career field at no monetary cost to you.  Our students are zealous and accomplished; they have won first place in the 2008 District 2A American Advertising Federation (AAF) Competition, have received dynamic classroom training from elite professors, and have had hands-on experience with the production and public relations efforts of the final 2008 Presidential Debate hosted by Hofstra this past October.

Many employers have already expressed a strong interest in attending the Fair.  We hope that you will be able to join us as well.  Space is limited and reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis.  Please register early.  We will accept registrations until we reach capacity, no later than Friday, April 3, 2009.
