International Business Coordinator

Troy University-Troy Campus is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of International Business Coordinator.

Duties include, but are not limited to: serving as the lead coordinator between the Center for International Business and Economic Development (CIBED) and the newly created Confucius Institute, directing the technical assistance activities in support of the CIBED economic development outreach in relation to Chinese business development, ability to develop finance seminars as outreach offerings to communities in Alabama, interacting with local economic developers, business leaders, elected officials, and government agency personnel; effectively marketing and delivering CIBED/Confucius Institute services; participating in developing grants and contracts; involvement in international activities including international travel; interfacing with state government and local and regional economic development groups; engaging Sorrell College of Business faculty in CIBED/Confucius Institute activities; and other duties as identified by the Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in finance or closely related field of study is required. Must be able to effectively communicate both written and orally in English. Ability to speak and communicate in Chinese is preferred. All candidates must meet employment eligibility requirements as set forth in the Immigration Reform & Control Act of 1989.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A graduate degree in business, with a concentration in Finance.
