Hobsons invites inquiries and applications for the position of Director of International Student Recruitment. Based in Asia, this newly created senior-level position reports directly to the Managing Director, Integrated Marketing Solutions, providing vision, leadership, and responsibility for ongoing management of direct student recruitment channels. The successful candidate for the Director of International Student Recruitment will be a proven leader with an established record of success in international education.

Qualifications and experience/competencies should include the following:
· Knowledge and understanding of the higher education system in Australia, the UK and the United States, preferably through senior-level experience in international recruitment at a university or in an education related business.
· Applied and demonstrated knowledge and experience with recruitment practices in India, China, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, and other key source countries
· Demonstrated skills in monitoring, evaluating, and developing the performance of relationships with a range of agents recruiting students to Australia, the UK or the United States in key source countries.
· Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with other staff within the organization and with staff of other organizations, especially government bodies.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Asia to gain access to key international student source countries, (relocation expenses paid).
