Remember all the nice things people in Japan did for you on JET? Some JET alums in the Seattle area have come up with a way to spread the karma to international students in the U.S. An idea that very much lends itself to being replicated if anyone in other chapters is interested.

I hope you’re all well & are enjoying the holidays.
Remember those lonely holidays in Japan? Wasn’t it nice to have an invite to a local person’s home? Or at least be with a couple other JETs?
Since it’s now the lonely holidays for anyone away from home, a friend & I have just started an events & activities thingie for international students to build international bridges & friendships, while helping them.
We’re compiling a list of free events & anyone interested in fun interactions with international college students is invited. :)
Come join us for some fun & games; one on one (if you’re shy) or in groups for some exciting & fun activities, i.e. Games, Puzzles, Movies, Stories, Discussions, outings, etc.
If you care to meet some new international friends & expand horizons (yours & theirs) you’re invited. This is just an informal gathering of international students & friends in Kirkland (Totemlake).
Anyone with an international interest is welcome. So come check it out. Join us for some clean free fun. :)
