Position Description:
The EA Advisor will work closely with students at all phases of the education abroad process, including promotion and outreach, advising and selection, on-going orientation, credit transfer, etc. The advisor will become an expert on a wide range of educational opportunities available to UK students within our strategic portfolio of programs and must know the details of the programs, including application procedures and deadlines. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about other countries and international student mobility, including systems of higher education, culture, and health, safety, and safety issues. The EA Advisor must commit to understanding curricula and procedures at UK and liaise with key faculty and relevant offices such as Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, Career Center, Undergraduate Research and college advising units.
