A Japanese Logistics company in the Reynoldsburg, OH area is looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to join their team to Receive and process export/import client’s shipments via truck, airline and steamship companies. Responsible for executing all functions related to the successful operation of this position and providing top notch customer service with continual improvement in mind.
This is an entry level position, so people with interest in learning the intricacies of logistics related tasks such as exporting and importing while providing excellent customer service are encouraged to apply.
The Salary range for this position would be between 40k-46k based on skills & experience.
Your main responsibilities would include the following:
- Customer Service (include sales support)
- To maintain existing clients which currently consists of about 60 clients.
Some clients required high level of maintenance. In order to keep operation smoothly, we have to deal with the operation team and manage to see if everything is going well.
- Operation such as booking, schedule management, shipping management.
- For the ocean export, supervise if warehouse received correct freight and load correct freight to correct container.
- Required to keep good relationship with the warehouse partner and our Chicago operation team.
- Customer Service. Tracking and monitoring existing shipments.
- Make booking to operation team.
- Manage import shipment.
- Giving instruction to operation team for air export shipment.
- Create quotation.
- Visit client to maintain good term.
- Oversees the overall operations through a set objective and goal to maximize the productivity logistics operation.
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency.
- Follow company policy and procedures.
- Coordinates with other departments and warehouse operations
- Responsible for customer communication and problem solving as a team
Please consider the following qualifications when applying:
- Basic English reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Minimum high school diploma
- Knowledge of office processes, procedures, and technology, Experience in supervising team activities.
- Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports.
- Three to five years of office experience which includes supervisory responsibility.( preferred)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Required good skills of Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point.
- Working inside office and warehouse as well.
- A Positive Attitude.
- Company do not support working visa nor green card program.
- Capability to drive a car.
