The Japan-U.S. Friendship Commission (JUSFC) and the International House of Japan (I-House) are currently seeking three Summer Interns for short-term (not to exceed two weeks) internships during late July-August 2020 to coincide with the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The interns will support the ongoing activities of the 2020 U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Program (NichiBei Creative Artists) . JUSFC and the National Endowment for the Arts have selected five artistic teams for this program. Each team of artists from the United States and Japan are working on a collaborative artistic project that will be presented to the public in Tokyo during summer 2020. More information on this project can be found HERE.
The internship is expected to be fast-paced, and will be based in Tokyo. This is an unpaid internship, and relocation to Tokyo is not covered. However, JUSFC and I-House will reimburse local transportation costs for daily commuting.
