Position: Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Location: New York City, New York (Midtown Manhattan)
Salary:  Up to $150K + discretionary bonus

Job Description

• Liaison with Head Office regarding Financial Group Issues
• Prepare summary application using application provided by RM Office to obtain approval to establish/renew credit limit for derivatives transactions
• Works with Credit Officer to make recommendations to manage counterparty risk
• Responsible for running end of day credit process and reporting excess
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports using spreadsheets and analyze results.
• Prepare BIS Risk Capital reporting for counterparty risk exposure.
• Resolve credit issues and works with Legal in ISDA negotiation
• Serve as main “help desk” contact for trades regarding Japanese Corporate deals
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills and Experience

• Fluent in both Japanese and English
• Bachelor’s degree (Major in Finance or Economics preferred)
• Minimum 5years experience in capital markets as a professional in Credit Risk Management / Credit Analysis
• Computer knowledge and experience in BIS Risk Assets
• Knowledge of Basel (BIS) Risk Capital framework
• OTC derivatives product knowledge preferred
• Basic knowledge of ISDA /CSA
• Strong spreadsheet skills (macro, VBA) as well as database skills preferred
• Excellent written skills and good analytical skills
• An MBA degree or CFA preferred
• Attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills while projecting a pro-active attitude
