CEA was founded in 1997 to provide international education opportunities and the highest quality student support for U.S. and Canadian university students interested in exploring global issues in exciting global cities. Today, CEA sends thousands of students every year on education abroad programs to locations in several countries, including Argentina, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Africa and Spain. CEA has opened its search for two positions within the Program Development Department based in our headquarters office in Phoenix, Arizona. Interested parties may learn more and/or apply at http://www.ceaStudyAbroad.com/Careers.

(1) Study Abroad Program Manager

The Study Abroad Program Manager supports new program development initiatives and manages several key internal processes to support the alignment and growth of CEA’s current product portfolio and expansion into new markets. This position works directly with CEA’s U.S. university partners to identify and document program needs and project management, writing, research, and training are emphasized in this role. The ideal candidate has at least five year’s experience in study abroad program management and development from a university perspective, is familiar with standards in study abroad, and has a good grasp of U.S. higher education and degree programs. The ability to provide timely support to CEA’s U.S. university partners is essential, so the Study Abroad Program Manager must have a customer-centric approach, strong project management and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.

(2) Custom & Faculty-led Program Coordinator

The Custom & Faculty-led Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating program development for and execution of custom, faculty-led, and university group arrangements. The ideal candidate will have at least three year’s university experience working within a study abroad environment and/or with faculty-led programs. The ability to be responsive to U.S. university partner requests is critical to success in this role. This position will develop and prepare 40 to 60 budgets annually and turn around proposals in a timely manner. The incumbent must have strong project management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve, and be a strong writer and communicator. This position works primarily with U.S. and international faculty and staff, various departments with CEA, and may interact with active study abroad participants, alumni and parents.
