Position Summary
The Program Advisor position is responsible for promoting and closing the sale of our outbound programs by working with students, student organizations, universities, and faculty. In this role, the successful candidate will support students through the program application process with the goal of increasing enrollment numbers. This position requires a highly energetic and personable individual who can consistently reach out to the prospective customers and build relationships.
In addition to servicing direct enrollment participants from sales & marketing lead gen efforts, the Program Advisor will work with the Regional Internship Team in establishing and maintaining relationships with universities for the purpose of participant recruitment in the assigned affiliated universities.
The Program Advisor is required to have a thorough understanding and be the Power User of our CRM platform, Salesforce.com, as well a comprehensive understanding of program delivery abroad and may participate in site delivery during high season.
Also needs to acquire extensive knowledge on permutations of program logistics by country, visa requirements, educational credit requirements, and be able to council students and universities accordingly.
The position will adhere to goals. Priorities include;
1. Promoting, closing sales and ongoing support for all Outbound Programs;
– Internship Open-Enrollments for Social Development, Business, Practical Training, and others that may be added to the program portfolio
– Custom Internship Groups (with Regional Internship Team)
– Faculty-Led Programs (with Regional Internship Team)
2. Maintain solid and campus-wide relationships with students, student organizations, and facilities of the assigned affiliated universities
Duties and Responsibilities
– Execute outbound sales calls to parties interested in Intrax Programs
– Support students and faculty members through the program application process with the goal of increasing enrollment numbers
– Set expectations about the program requirements and provide excellent customer service
– Manage phone and web inquiries, as well as build and maintain various opportunity pipelines using the lead tracking system (Salesforce)
– Adhere to Sales and Business Process set by the Regional Internship Director
– Work with Regional Internship Team and increase the institutional sales
– Provide excellent and personalized service to Affiliated Universities assigned by the Regional Internship Director
– Coordinate and send marketing material to students, universities, and student organizations
– Additional administrative duties as necessary
– Attend selected meetings and fairs at assigned Affiliated Universities as needed
– Support and connect with on-site teams
– Partake in review and evaluation of post-program delivery
Additional Responsibilities
– Assist with marketing content and collateral for outbound programs
– Other duties as assigned by Manager

Travel
– International travel may be included (passport required)
– Occasional domestic travel opportunities to attend university events and meetings – This position may require 15% travel vs. 85% office work
