Overview:
Our client is seeing a Bi-Lingual English/Japanese Advisor (Translator/Writer/Copy-Editor/Researcher). This position will work closely with the product and design teams to support the creation of key features in their product. The Bi-Lingual Advisor will leverage his/hers expertise to work on key work streams.

Key Accountabilities:
Copy-edit product terms in Japanese and English
Translate different product, research and content elements from English to Japanese and visa-versa
Conduct product/market/user research in Japanese
Write/edit different content summaries/elements in the product
Help recruit local Japanese users for product feedback
Moderate research sessions with Japanese users – Must speak Japanese

- Someone who is hooked in/linked with the Japanese community (so who can engage and bring in users/testers)
- Someone who understands the customer need and experience and can recruit a group of Japanese users to ask questions to, etc
- Ideally someone who is an ESL Teacher (will also consider someone who is a user researcher, product person, UX person, designer, linguist, etc)
