Overview:
Key responsibilities in this position are:
• Write and circulate media releases, newsletters and travel updates to the media
• Organize and coordinate Japan media trip and provide assistance for travel writers travelling to Japan
• Research and provide up to date information and accurate statistics on Japan related articles
• Collect Japanese articles, advertisements and create reports for sharing information with business partners
• Conduct research and analysis on media marketing and provide reports to Executive Director and Director
• Coordinate and manage projects
• Handle public enquiries and provide information on Japan travel
• Send out brochures and other travel materials
• Edit web pages and update the contents on Facebook to provide up-to-date information
• Assist at promotional event, send out information to business partners, attending and making presentations at events seminars
• Make business trips, interstate or to international destinations for travel shows and /or familiarization trips
• Provide business trip reports, and business meeting reports to Executive Director or as otherwise directed on and to assist other staff in the office
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths
• Advanced Japanese level (Speaking / Reading / Writing) , Native English level
• Previous experience in Marketing/ PR/ Media industry(Not essential but highly regarded)
• Ability to travel(within Australia)
• Have a great interest in Japan or Japanese culture
