Overview:
The College of Wooster is pleased to announce the opening of a new Program Coordinator position within Off Campus Studies. The Program Coordinator position assists the Director of Off Campus Studies in the advising, coordination, and promotion of semester-long domestic and study abroad programs at The College of Wooster. This position assists in the effective administration and marketing of off-campus study programs as well as works closely with students in all phases of the off-campus study process, including promotion, outreach, advising, orientation, and reentry. Bachelor’s degree with two to three years’ work experience in a study abroad office is required. Knowledge and use of a secondary language; familiarity with website design and social media outreach; and knowledge of exchange programs and partnerships a must.
Job Duties:
- Assists in the coordination and promotion of Off Campus Studies at the College of Wooster.
- Assists with advising students and parents regarding off-campus study program options, opportunities and requirements.
- Assists with the maintaining of applications and records through a database.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of all College policies, procedures and practices associated with off campus studies programs.
- Assists with the promotion off-campus study programs through print and electronic promotional on-campus advertising, event planning, presentations and social media.
- Develops, coordinates and implements events for off campus studies participants and students.
- Maintains the off campus studies website content and social networking sites to ensure information is current and comprehensive.
- Maintains daily administrative tasks within the Off Campus Studies Office including scheduling appointments, assisting with budgetary requests, scheduling of on-campus activities and events, keeping up with communication requests and other tasks as assigned.
