Position: Education Abroad Advisor

Type: Part-time, 30 hours per week, 9 months per year
Advertised Salary: $17,403
Overview:
Contribute to the International Programs team by providing primary education abroad student advising, supporting marketing and outreach efforts to grow education abroad participation; maintaining the Terra Dotta software program; and providing broad support to all education abroad and International Programs initiatives and scheduled campus events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- One year of work experience in a customer service oriented position.
- Experience living, working, and/or studying outside the U.S.
- Strong communication skills – must be able to communicate both written and verbally.
- Effective interpersonal skills – able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Computer applications proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an education abroad/international programs office.
- Experience with TerraDotta software.
- Experience with Photoshop, Publisher, or other desktop publishing software programs.
- Public speaking skills.
- Interculturally competent.
