Overview:
The Marketing and Program Coordinator of the Teaching in English Program (TIE) is responsible for promoting and marketing the program to overseas academic institutions. TIE is an intensive training program offered by Montclair State University overseas and on the university campus. Taught by MSU faculty members, the program is designed to strengthen academic English proficiency for international university instructors. The Marketing and Program Coordinator is responsible for: promoting the program with existing partners as well as identifying and developing new markets; developing promotional material online and in print; traveling overseas to negotiate terms of contracts, and manage execution of programs overseas and on campus. The Marketing and Program Coordinator will assist in developing business plans, budgets and program pricing; preparing proposals and contracts; executing program details such as logistics for faculty travel and accommodations, billing and collecting receivables and participating in faculty debriefings and program evaluation.
- A Masters Degree from an accredited university in Global Studies, Political Science, History, Business, International Education, Foreign Languages and/or other pertinent disciplines, with an international/global focus.
- At least two years’ experience in teaching and/or higher education administration, preferably in international education.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese language.
- Excellent Communication Skills in English language.
