Overview:

London Study Abroad Experience (LSAE) has an opening for an Onsite Director in our London Office. The LSAE Director position is responsible all programming and operations. Among the primary responsibilities for the Director are program development, partner/university relations, and student support services. A secondary focus will be to assist in marketing and promotion of LSAE programs. This position is perfect for an entrepreneurial, driven, energetic professional interested in a rewarding career in the field of international education.

  • Five days per week: generally Monday – Friday
  • During peak or transition periods daily/weekly schedule fluctuates
  • Work is high paced and goal oriented
  • Working knowledge of admin applications such as, excel, skype, and google
  • Time is spent in working from office environment with regular student, and partner visits in and around London
  • Salary and Benefits Commensurate with experience and similar positions Benefits and bonus package

Responsibilities:

Student Support

  • Provide on-site support for studentsCollaborate with US clients and the host university staff to plan student services
  • Communicate current and reliable information concerning health and safety to students
  • Prepare a crisis management plan for all program sites and keep these updated
  • Communicate with incoming students via email and social networking

Program Development:

  • Develop semester and summer study abroad programs
  • Develop and implement strategy for delivering internships in partnership with local operator
  • Develop and implement strategy for delivering customized programs in and around London
  • Manage all related administrative functions Marketing and Promotion
  • Assist US based efforts of general marketing and sales processes
  • Assist in execution and management of new marketing strategies for internship division
  • Assist in updating and keeping accurate and compelling website content
  • Assist in student communication throughout enrollment process Financial Management
  • Manage ongoing LSAE operational budget
  • Manage finances and submit monthly expense reports to supervisor
  • Plan and anticipate ongoing financial needs for LSAE Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree and study abroad experience
  • 3 years of professional work experience, preferably in higher education
  • In-depth knowledge of local culture, business practices, and academic environment
  • Self-starter with strong leadership skills and a commitment to customer service
  • Possess strong organizational skills and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to work legally in the UK Working Conditions
