1. Admissions Recruiter Advisor (Job ID#3708) (Latin America territory)
Duties:
Evaluation of applications for admission and supporting academic credentials (secondary and post-secondary foreign credentials) to determine admissibility and scholarship eligibility. Serving as departmental contact with academic colleges, Graduate School, INTO USF, Student Affairs, USF World and other departments related to international students.
Management of an international recruitment territory by providing admission advising, maintaining regular communication with prospective students, applicants, secondary school and university officials, EducationUSA advisors, coordinating admission functions, and representing USF at recruitment fairs. While much of the recruitment will be conducted through the effective use of technology and new media, some international travel may be required;
Assistance with the development of the unit’s recruitment and yield communications plan and initiatives, to include e-mail, chat and telephone campaigns (e.g., e-postcards, calling scripts, etc.). Given that prospective international students come from almost every time zone, flexibility in work schedule to include evenings, late nights, early mornings and occasional weekends will be a must.
