Position: Trainee Consultant
Location: Tokyo

Overview:

• To understand and match the needs of clients and candidates
• To manage the end to end recruitment cycle including job lead and candidate generation, candidate qualification, interview/offer process through to after placement service
• To provide quality tailored recruitment solutions in line with Brand Winning Proposition

Candidate Management
• Source candidates (using database, networking, recommendation, headhunting and advertising)
• Maintain a candidate database through
correctly entering their details into Apollo to enable effective tracking and matching of candidates to client requirements
• Write adverts as required to source candidates for existing and pipeline client requirements
• Screen and qualify CVs received against skills, experience, location,
salary etc
• Conduct candidate qualification interviews
to establish suitability for
vacant roles, motivations, availability etc
• Develop and generate leads through identifying opportunities that arise from candidate movement i.e. details of companies & roles where their CV has been submitted/had interviews etc
• Candidate control through positively influencing candidates to achieve their objectives
• Negotiate with candidates on candidate offer terms and conditions of employment to successfully secure profitable placements
• Conduct candidate monitoring calls/meetings after candidate is placed to build candidate relationship

Client Management
• Identify sales opportunities amongst existing and new potential clients through cold calling, networking, following up leads/referrals and attending client meetings
• Develop and generate leads through identifying opportunities which arise from general market knowledge or specific knowledge about new and existing clients
• Market candidates to existing and new potential clients via telephone, emails and mail-shots
• Begin to gain commitment, sell relevant features of the brand winning proposition and maximise opportunity whilst taking job specifications
• Develop and maintain a key contact lists of leads/clients with supporting information such as contact details, company information etc in Apollo
• Work to identify, win and conduct client meetings to build and maintain client relationships. Work closely with the Business Development or Account Management team
• Respond to client requirements by matching suitable candidates to vacant roles
• Conduct client “after placement” calls/meetings after the candidate is placed to build client relationship

Sales/General Activities
• Plan and prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed KPIs and sales targets with support from management
• Build up-to-date knowledge of own recruitment sector/technology to respond proactively to clients requirements
• Successfully complete all On-Boarding and SThree induction training
• Comply with country employment regulations when carrying out any recruitment activities
• Pro actively deal and respond to complaints from clients and candidates. Escalate if no solution can be achieved

• Develop knowledge and sound understanding of Brand’s Terms & Conditions to enable good negotiation with clients in line with regional quality deal value guidelines
• Adhere to Brand’s Terms & Conditions and process/rules regarding altering of the Terms & Conditions
• Adhere to SThree’s internal quality standards and processes to ensure good governance and high levels of professionalism
• Adhere to and be fully compliant with company systems/processes and regulations specific to sector
• Undertake administration (including maximising the use and quality of data held on Apollo)
• Undertake reference checking for every candidate that is put forward for a role with clients to ensure quality candidates are
provided
