Overview:

US Pathway Program (USPP) will bring approximately 200 students from China and Nigeria to Northeastern University campus this summer for a unique “Summer Bridge,” as the culminating academic and cultural experience of the USPP. The dates for the Summer Bridge program for students are May 26-August 15.

Job Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and energetic graduate student to act as On-Site Manager (OSM) for this Summer Bridge program. General job responsibilities will include the following:
* Supervise approximately 10-12 Global Student Ambassadors (GSAs)
* Residence Life and Student Conduct
* USPP Liaison
* Administration

Training:
The OSM will attend mandatory on-campus training May 19-23 with the USPP staff and Global Student Ambassadors. Some pre-training online work may be necessary. She/He may assist in one or two on-campus training sections. In addition, the OSM will meet with USPP staff for approximately three full-day meetings prior to the on-campus training.

Compensation:
We offer a compensation package as follows:
o Complimentary housing in International Village on campus from May 18 -August 15 (TBC
o Dining Dollars or meal plan (to be determined)
o $3000 stipend

Requirements:
o Enrollment in or graduate of Master’s program (PhD or EdD preferred) in Student Counseling, Higher Education, International Education, Student Development, or other relevant field
o 1-2 years demonstrated student service experience or higher education experience in a student affairs capacity
o Self-initiative, flexibility, and assertiveness
o Demonstrated experience with crisis management
o Proven ability to coordinate and manage events for large groups with attention to detail
o A positive and professional personality
o Experiencing with living ,working, or studying abroad

Tentative Hiring Timeline:
