Position: IR, PR, & Corporation Communication Sr. Coordinator

Overview:
The Senior Coordinator will support the Communications department in its work with key external stakeholder audiences: investors, media, advocacy groups, general public, vendors and partners. The Coordinator will also work closely on employee communications and with key departments within the organization to advance Sucampo’s external and internal communications objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Previous experience with a Bio-Pharmaceutical company is strongly preferred – previous IR, PR, and/or communications experience also strongly preferred
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize, organize and meet often tight deadlines
- Relishes learning and working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of independence
- Ability to be resourceful, flexible, and productive in the face of ambiguity
- Ability to work with colleagues and others at all levels (from CEO to administrative-level contacts)
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Technically proficient, able to work with databases, and able to learn new software and electronic tools as required
