Asian Human Services is seeking an experienced, creative ESL teacher for adult education classes The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in teaching immigrants from around the world, in particular low-income students, and will have fully-developed teaching strategies to help students make the transition from the classroom into the community. This position is a full-time one requiring up to twenty teaching hours per week. Other duties may include administrative support of the ESL program and participation in a literacy program that includes preschoolers and school-age children. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and a Master’s degree is preferred.
