Overview:
Emory & Henry College is seeking an Assistant Director of International Education. The Assistant Director of International Education works to carry out the academic and administrative mission of the Office of International Education (OIE). In collaboration with the Director, this person plans and executes educational and outreach events sponsored by the OIE; designs and presents pre-departure and re-entry curricula; provides information to students and parents about all aspects of study abroad; assists faculty in planning short-term programs, serves as a resource and liaison with international students before and when they arrive on campus; assists in the advising of the International House; helps to maintain advising, marketing, application, and training materials; manages office website content; evaluates study abroad programs; assists in grant writing and other external funding initiatives.

Qualifications:
Earned college degree; ability to work with faculty, students, administrators, as well as overseas service providers; excellent written and communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to set goals and complete projects with a high degree of independence; proficient in the use of MS Office; willingness to travel and work some evening and weekend events. International experience preferred.
